The NABH Assessor Training Programme is a comprehensive in-person course conducted over 3 to 5 days (depending on the specific programme). It is designed to train and evaluate healthcare professionals aspiring to become NABH Assessors. The programme includes interactive sessions, practical exercises, and concludes with a final examination to assess participants’ understanding and readiness.

The eligibility criteria for each program are outlined in detail in the respective advertisement.

It is desirable to attend Programme on Implementation (POI) by NABH on NABH standards before applying.

NABH screens your application to ensure you meet eligibility criteria.The shortlisted eligible candidate is called for virtual interaction. Final selection is based on the outcome of these interactions.

The training covers NABH standards, assessment methodology, scoring, ethics, and includes exercises, case studies, and a final written exam.

You must successfully pass the daily evaluation, including a written exam and group assessments.

As an observer, you will participate in hospital assessments under the guidance of a principal assessor to gain field experience.

After successful performance in the observerships, NABH may empanel you as NABH Assessor.

Successful completion of training does not guarantee empanelment. NABH will empanel only those who meet the final evaluation criteria.

Yes. Assessors must attend refresher trainings, maintain assessment quality, and adhere to NABH’s code of conduct to remain active.

NABH prefers candidates working in NABH accredited/certified or government hospitals and preferably part of the Quality Team.

Applicants may be nominated by their Head of Organization, MD, or CEO from an accredited/certified or government hospital.

Only the final shortlisted candidates will be required to make the payment depending upon the assessor course.

₹25,000 + GST (18%) for Hospital accreditation program course.

₹15,000 + GST (18%) for Entry level certification program course

Approximately 50 participants are selected for each training course. NABH Secretariat will maintain a repository of all the applicants for the purpose of considering the eligible candidates for future programs.

Candidates who did not qualify in previous trainings may reapply.

No. Any association with other accreditation bodies will lead to automatic disqualification.

The participants are required to make their own arrangements.

NABH reserves full rights to accept/reject applications based on their operational requirements and discretion.
