Digital Health Accreditation Programme

This 4-years validity accreditation focuses on the digital transformation of healthcare institutions by assessing how effectively they use technology to improve clinical outcomes, patient experience, data security, and operational workflows. Covering areas like HIS, EMR, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, patient data privacy, and decision support systems, it promotes alignment with national programmes such as ABDM, NHCX, and Digital India. Ideal for hospitals that want to demonstrate digital maturity, this accreditation helps build stakeholder confidence, future-proofs care delivery, and facilitates participation in tech-driven public health initiatives.

  1. Digital Maturity Framework: This accreditation demonstrates a hospital’s readiness and maturity in adopting healthcare IT systems, including HIS, EMR, cybersecurity protocols, patient data privacy, and clinical decision support systems.
  2. Enhancing Care through Technology: By integrating digital workflows across clinical and administrative functions, the programme enables faster, safer, and more informed decision-making, thereby improving overall patient outcomes.
  3. Alignment with National Priorities: Accredited hospitals are better positioned to participate in government-led initiatives like ABDM, NHCX, DPDP, and Digital India, reinforcing their compliance with national digital health frameworks.
  4. Interoperability and Patient Empowerment: The programme supports the creation of a unified health registry and facilitates secure data exchange, empowering patients with control over their own health records and improving care continuity.
  5. Operational Efficiency and Risk Management: By automating key processes, reducing redundancies, and securing sensitive data, hospitals can significantly lower the risk of clinical errors and data breaches.
  6. Credibility in the Ecosystem: Digital accreditation acts as a trust marker for regulators, insurers, and patients, showcasing the institution’s commitment to innovation, reliability, and ethical use of health technology.
