Ensuring Quality in Homoeopathic Medical Education

The National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), in partnership with NABH, has rolled out a quality assurance initiative focused on structured, tech-enabled inspections of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges and their attached hospitals across India. The assessments are guided by the “Minimum Essential Standards” defined by NCH and carried out using geo-tagged digital documentation and neutral assessors trained by NABH.

With the rapid growth of Homoeopathic education in India, maintaining uniform academic and infrastructural standards is essential. This collaboration fosters credibility, transparency, and integrity through rigorous evaluation mechanisms—building public trust and institutional accountability in Homoeopathic systems of medicine.

To undertake impartial and comprehensive inspections of Homoeopathic colleges and affiliated hospitals across India, using digital tools and trained assessors, with the aim of verifying compliance with NCH’s Minimum Essential Standards and promoting quality and transparency.
